Shakespeare and my Essay

Well it's acutally happening. I've been watching 12th Night and I'm actually understanding what's going on. It's a miracle! Actually it's a lovely production. A quite old (1979) BBC production with Felicity Kendall. But it's classic Shakespeare and by chance I hired the book of the exact same production which is great to use as a guide. I can hardly wait until tomorrow night so I can finish it and then read some of the notes included with the book I borrowed. Then I will watch it again without following the script. It's great to finally understand some of this stuff.

About my essay. From previous posts you'll know I've been on a literary conquest. Well what I haven't explained is why. I hope to study in 09 and in order to do that I have to first of all read things other than Cleo and the TV guide and secondly I have to remember (acutally just learn in general) how to study. I haven't even tried to write an essay in five years and they were childish at best when I did. However I do have one person who can help me and that is my Mum. She is big on literature, essays and study so thankfully I have until the end of the year to learn how to write a decent essay, practice some study techniques and get myself back in to thinking academically.

I've been writing an essay on Russia because I never studied Modern History at school and am finding it fascinating but sad. So many wars, so many people lost. Well that is enough for tonight. After my Russian essay and Shakespeare I want to just read a little Tolstoy and then go to sleep. Night all.
